Does HMS certify Hebrew National?
Not at present. Hebrew National is not certified or monitored by HMS, and HMS has not examined how Hebrew National hot dogs is produced, so HMS cannot describe it as Zabiha Halal.
Why HMS cannot vouch for it
HMS certifies only what it checks. Meat is Halal when a permissible animal is slaughtered by valid hand Zabiha, alive, with Bismillah pronounced for it individually, and when that identity survives every later stage of processing and packing. Verify the specific product: certified items carry the HMS mark and appear in the HMS certified directory, and certification may cover only part of a range.
Remember that HMS certifies a specific location or product rather than a company as a whole. One certified branch never makes every branch certified, and one certified item never covers an entire range, so check the entry that matches what you are actually buying.
