Why Is Eating Halal Important?

Answered by Halal Monitoring Services Updated

The full answer

Eating Halal is an act of obedience to Allah.

Food becomes part of our bodies and gives us the strength with which we worship, work, raise our families and serve others. Islam therefore teaches Muslims to care about not only what they eat, but where it came from and whether it was obtained lawfully.

Halal is not merely a dietary preference. It is part of a Muslim's religious life.
