Has HMS certified Arby's?
HMS has not. Arby's is not currently certified or monitored by HMS, and HMS has not examined where the meat served at Arby's comes from or how the animals were slaughtered. HMS cannot confirm that it is Zabiha Halal.
Why HMS cannot vouch for it
HMS stands behind inspections rather than impressions: we certify only what we check. Halal meat means a permissible species, valid hand Zabiha and Bismillah on each individual animal, with every link in the chain accounted for. Neither a permissible species nor a friendly answer at the counter settles that, which is why what a staff assurance proves and Google Halal labels are worth reading.
Since HMS certifies individual locations, a certified Arby's location would be listed in the HMS certified directory together with the products it covers.
HMS would rather say less and be accurate than say more and be wrong. That is the whole meaning of certifying only what is checked, and it is why this page stops at what HMS has genuinely verified about this name.
Our advice: avoid it and eat HMS Certified only
Do not gamble with your deen. If it is not verified, leave it. That is the Prophetic guidance:
“Leave that which causes you doubt for that which does not cause you doubt.”
