Has HMS certified Jack in the Box?
HMS does not currently certify Jack in the Box. HMS has not inspected the supply chain behind the meat served at Jack in the Box, so HMS is not in a position to confirm that it is Zabiha Halal.
Why HMS cannot vouch for it
HMS works to one principle: we certify only what we check. Meat is Halal only when the animal is a permissible species and was slaughtered by valid hand Zabiha with Bismillah pronounced for each individual animal. A sign in a window, a label inside a delivery app or word of mouth does not establish any of that. HMS certification is granted to an individual location rather than to a company name, so a Jack in the Box restaurant would appear in the HMS certified directory if it were ever certified and currently compliant.
When there is doubt, check the directory first and order second.
