What HMS can tell you
Does HMS certify Culver's?
Not at present. Culver's is not on the HMS certified list, and HMS has never inspected the sourcing, storage or preparation behind the meat served at Culver's. HMS therefore cannot confirm that it meets the Zabiha standard.
Why that matters
HMS certifies only what it checks. Halal meat requires a permissible species slaughtered by valid hand Zabiha, with Bismillah pronounced over each animal, supplied through a chain that HMS has approved and continues to monitor. Assumption, habit and popularity are not evidence. Read when chicken actually counts as Halal and what a staff assurance proves before you decide.
Because certification belongs to a location and not to a brand name, any certified Culver's branch would be visible in the HMS certified directory.
Remember that HMS certifies a specific location or product rather than a company as a whole. One certified branch never makes every branch certified, and one certified item never covers an entire range, so check the entry that matches what you are actually buying.
Our advice: avoid it and eat HMS Certified only
Do not gamble with your deen. If it is not verified, leave it. That is the Prophetic guidance:
“Leave that which causes you doubt for that which does not cause you doubt.”
Until HMS can confirm Culver's, the safe path for a Muslim is to avoid it and eat only from HMS Certified kitchens, where the supply is monitored from the slaughterhouse to your plate. Find an HMS Certified place near you.
